• Senate Bill 1100 | Summary (Scarnati) Creates an Act to impose a natural gas impact fee and provide for a model ordinance for municipalities to abide by to receive revenue from the fee.
   
  • Amendment A02979 | Summary (MJ White)
     
    • Increases the base fee and removes the volume and price adjustors.
    • Removes criminal penalties.
    • Creates a housing fee credit.
    • Allocates $1,000,000 annually to the Office of State Fire Commissioner.
    • Requires all municipalities or counties receiving funds to submit an annual report of projects and services provided by funding from this act to the commission.
    • Makes changes under statewide environmental initiatives distribution of fee and local distribution of fee.
    • Creates an expiration of the Shale Impact Fee on the imposition of a severance tax on each unconventional well producing gas in this Commonwealth.
