The
initiative is administered by the state Department of Conservation and

White
said DCNR will host a series of statewide to explain the grant
application process. Locally, a workshop will be held August 5 at
the Clarion Holiday Inn, located at I-80 and Route 68. Participants are
urged to register; space is limited.
"Our
area has benefited from conservation and recreation funding in the past,
and I encourage local officials and community groups to look into the
availability of grants this year, too," White said.
