Senate Special Session Committee on Energy Policies Meeting
Harrisburg – The Senate Special Session Committee on Energy Policies will
hold a meeting tomorrow on the proposed "Alternative Energy Investment Act,"
committee chair Sen. Mary Jo White (R-21) announced today.
The meeting will take place Wednesday, October 17th at 10:30 a.m. in Room 8
E-B of the Capitol's East Wing.
The Alternative Energy Investment Act, Special Session Senate Bill 1,
sponsored by Senator White and Sen. Tommy Tomlinson (R-6), would use existing
revenues to provide grants and loans to projects geared at improving energy
supply and efficiency, improved conservation and reduced demand for energy.
