Eight Bills to be Considered by Senate Special Session
Committee on Energy Policies
Tuesday, Nov. 27
Harrisburg – The Senate Special Session Committee on Energy Policies will
meet next week and is expected to consider eight bills addressing a variety of
issues. The Committee is chaired by Senator Mary Jo White (R-21).
The meeting will be held Tuesday, November 27, at 12 p.m. in Room 1, North
Office Building of the Capitol.
The committee is expected to consider the following bills:
- Special Session Senate Bill 4
Alternative Energy Research & Development Tax Credits
- SS SB 6
Solar Installation Tax Credit
- SS SB 8
Energy-saving Materials Sales Tax Holiday
- SS SB 22
Amendments to Alternative Fuels Incentive Act
- SS SB 25
Amendments to Alternative Energy Portfolio Standards Act
- SS SB 26
State-owned or leased vehicles to use biodiesel blend
- SS SB 31
Amendments to Alternative Energy Portfolio Standards Act
The committee is also expected to consider Senator White's proposed Biodiesel
Study and Production Incentive Act. Information on the meeting will be posted
